Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the East Alamosa Water and Sanitation District Board for the ensuing year 2021; a copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of East Alamosa Water and Sanitation District, where the same is open for public inspection; such proposed budget will be considered at the regular meeting of the East Alamosa Water and Sanitation District to be held at 10 Costilla Blvd.
The East Alamosa Water and Sanitation District is accepting bids for the installation of a fence with 1 gate on vacant land south of Alamosa. The Board is requesting bids for approximately 2,640 ft of five(5) strand barbed wire fence with six (6) H fixture braces. For further information contact the District Office at 10 Costilla Blvd.

In early July, the Colorado Department of Transportation and Concrete Works of Colorado began a project to improve the intersection of US Highway 160 and CO Highway 17. Upgrades to the intersection include a new traffic signal that will replace stop signs, deteriorating asphalt will be removed and upgraded with concrete pavement, and a new storm sewer system will improve drainage.
These basic conservation principles maximize Colorado's limited water supply and encourage a healthy, hardy and drought-resistant landscape.
