The US 160 and SH 17 INTERSECTION PROJECT will consist of abandoning an existing sanitary sewer line and replacing it with approximately 606 LF of 8-inch PVC, 4 manholes, 2 service connections, the removal and replacement of one fire hydrant and the re-location of a 2-inch remote read metering station. This project will be under the cover of a larger CDOT project known as “Federal Aid Project No. FSA 1602-159 US HIGHWAY No. 160 Construction Project Code No. 21138”. The CDOT project contractor will remove the existing asphalt pavement for the US 160 and SH 17 Intersection Project, provide traffic control for the entire project duration and will provide intersection re-alignment and concrete paving of the ultimate roadway section. The project will require the contractor to coordinate with other utilities and contractors. The installation of the proposed sanitary sewer will be phased and may require two mobilizations and demobilizations. The phasing may be subject to changes as the CDOT contractor is selected.
